It’s not uncommon for us to suffer from painful stomachs after consuming food. There are many reasons why we may experience stomach discomfort after eating, ranging from the foods we eat to medical conditions.
If you experience stomach pain that’s accompanied by vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea, then you may have eaten something that was past its best date.
Foods such as tomatoes, citrus fruits, and vinaigrettes, to name a few, are all relatively high in acid and can easily cause stomach discomfort when consumed in high amounts.
There are several spicy foods out there, but perhaps the most common ones are the punchy chili peppers.
