I love trying really old recipes and seeing what people used to make. But a lot of old-fashioned recipes are pretty complicated and just not really practical for me to replicate. Honestly, I don’t have tons of patience, especially when I can buy something similar. 

But these recipes are pretty easy and are also deliciously nostalgic, so they tick all the right boxes.
