Trying to eat a lower-carb diet?

In a previous article, we covered 12 common low-carb foods that are delicious as well. This time, we’re looking at 12 more. So get ready to enjoy some great foods while keeping the carb count low!

Lamb can be pretty fatty, but if you trim off as much of it as you can, you’ll keep the fat intake down as you keep the carbs down as well. Lamb is also very tasty and makes a great alternative to beef.

“The other white meat” is fattier than chicken is, but it’s still a great choice for its taste and affordability. To really reduce fa intake, buy leaner cuts such as loin and tenderloin.

Turkey is inexpensive, and it’s heartier than chicken. It’s drier than beef, but many people have turned to ground turkey for burgers, pasta dishes, and chili because it’s so low in fat compared to beef.

Shrimp is really popular because it tastes so good, and even though it’s not cheap, it tends to cost a lot less than crab and lobster do. It’s also really versatile and pairs really well with foods like beef for a nice surf and turf.

Inexpensive and versatile, tomatoes are an easy, healthy addition to so many meals. Tip: don’t store unripened tomatoes in the fridge; the cold air slows the ripening process, and they might go bad before they fully ripen.
