Everyone loves a snack now and then. Unfortunately, a lot of snack foods are high in calories and not that good for you overall. Plus, the healthier snacks often aren’t as tasty. So let’s look at some low-calorie snacks you might never have tried. Once you do, you might be wishing you’d known about them a lot earlier!

Kellogg’s Pastry Crisps

These taste a lot like Pop Tarts, but they’re a lot healthier for you. They have way less fat and sugar.

These come in packages of 8 and in several different varieties. They’re also spreadable and a good source of protein.

Air-Fried Crab Sticks

You can make these right at home, and it’s easier than you might think. They also taste delicious and are a great alternative to more traditional choices.

Wasa Crisps

They’re great on their own and in salads. Many people substitute them for toast with breakfast because they’re delicious and are lower-cal than bread.

Pickle Spears

Once you open them, you should refrigerate them. Then you have a cold, refreshing treat on hand. Pickle spears also last a long time and are fairly cheap.

Most people can’t tell the difference between these and the sugary varieties. When that’s the case, you’ve got a tasty treat that has way fewer calories than the regular kind.

Graham Crackers

Plain graham crackers are low in calories and go well with a little peanut butter. The ones coated with cinnamon sugar do push the calorie count up a lot.

Saltines

Many people only think of Saltines with soup or crushed-up ingredients in some recipes, but they make great snacks on their own. Most major grocery chains also have store brands that can save you a lot of money.

Raw Carrots

Raw carrots are low in calories and are nice snacks on their own or make good additions to salads. Be careful about dips and dressings, though; they can add a lot of calories.

Watermelon

Most fruits are naturally low in calories, and they’re also great for you. Another nice thing about watermelon is that it can be very filling, helping you avoid overeating.

Grapes

Tasty, sweet, and sometimes a little sour, grapes are pretty inexpensive, healthy snacks. Many people like to freeze them for a cold, slushy treat.
