This Romanian Mici Recipe, or Garlicky Skinless Grilled Sausages, is the best recipe for the grilling season. Big on flavor and super easy to make, this mici or mititei are a much-loved traditional Romanian recipe. It is best served with yellow mustard and bread.

This elderflower cordial is such a refreshing drink, all naturally made, with no boiling involved and no citric acid added. It can be made fizzy by allowing it to ferment naturally. You can have it totally nonalcoholic or add some prosecco, gin, or vodka to get the party started!

Mici or mititei is street food in Romania, and they are loved by everyone who likes meat. Yes, we do have a similar recipe earlier in the list but you should try different recipes until you get the one you love.

Traditional Sour Cabbage Stew

Remember the sour soup we talked about before? Well, this is simalar but vegan! Cheap, delicious, and nutritious, this sour cabbage stew is a traditional recipe in all Eastern European cuisines. It’s absolutely delicious, easy to make, and has very special sweet, sour and salty taste that you won’t find anywhere else.

Amandine (Romanian Chocolate Cake)

This is a traditional layered Romanian chocolate cake that is simply amazing. You can find them in most Romanian sweet shops (i.e. cofetarii) that serve traditional desserts, but homemade amandines are simply the best.
