Americans love beer, but every generation likes different kinds of beer, and the difference is quite remarkable.
Whether you are part of the Boomer generation, Gen X, or a millennial- you might find yourself grabbing a different type of beer from the shelf. Now, it turns out that American millennials are more partial to foreign beers than domestic beers, as opposed to Boomers who prefer domestic brands.
According to Visual Capitalist, these are the most popular beers for Millennials. So, if you are shopping for a millennial, you might want to grab one of these to have on hand!
The “popularity” metric represents the % of people who had a positive opinion of that beer. Note that YouGov surveys are conducted with a representative sample of 1,500 respondents.
Heineken

Hard seltzers have become very popular in recent years due to their variety of flavors, attractive packaging, and relatively low carbs and calories among millennials.
