With certain foods as leftovers, time is the secret ingredient, tasting even better the next day. Here are 15 dishes that prove leftovers deserve more love — and maybe even the spotlight.

Spaghetti

This classic reaches peak flavor as a leftover. The sauce, whether marinara, Bolognese, or creamy Alfredo, has time to soak into the noodles, creating a richer and more cohesive dish. Warming it the next day intensifies the seasoning and makes it feel heartier. Some people even prefer eating it cold, straight from the fridge.
