We all think we have a basic idea of what we should be doing to stay healthy. There’s getting good sleep, exercising, and, of course, following a healthy diet.

When it comes to consuming healthy foods, we may not always have a good grasp on this, but seeing as diet is such an important part of staying healthy, shouldn’t it be in everyone’s best interest to know more about all the healthy foods out there? Read on to learn more about some of the healthiest foods out there that can only benefit you if you eat them every day.

Leafy Greens

Leafy Greens are rich with with all sorts of dietary fiber and other nutrients, including calcium, vitamins A, C, K, and several B vitamins.

Berries

Berries are not only deliciously tart and fresh, but they are also packed with fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin C.

Nuts and Seeds

The nice thing about nuts and seeds is that there is a lot of variation out there, and there are so many kinds of varieties for you to try that you will probably never get sick of them. Nuts and seeds also contains high levels of healthy fats and fiber, which are great for the gut.

Avocados

Avocados are rich and creamy, and they should also be consumed everyday if possible as they are laced with vitamins C, E, K, and B6. Furhtermore, they also contain folate, riboflavin, niacin, magnesium, pantothenic acid, and potassium.

Spices such as ginger and turmeric are great for spicing up our lives, and they also contain several powerful antioxidants that may reduce symptoms of inflammation and alleviate inflammation-related illnesses such as arthritis, digestive diseases, and even diabetes.

Sweet Potatoes
